The first day was sunny so we decided to drive down to Whittier for the 26 glacier cruise. It's a day cruise that tours through Prince William Sound going up close to several magnificent glaciers. It was rather windy but luckily it was calm on the boat and we had amazing views.
There are several state cabins throughout the area that are available to utilize. We found one at Eklutna Lake that is only a few miles off a trail. To explore the area more [and to get all the baby gear out there] we rented an ATV. We had a great time driving around and relaxing around the campfire.
While they were here, we also hiked to the top of Flattop Mountain, drove around Hatcher's Pass, went to the state fair to see Jim Gaffigan and watched some football.
We had a great time showing Brook and Stephanie around Alaska and it's always a fun time hanging out with them :) More pictures from their trip are up on Shutterfly!
